Members of the Class of 2026 first gathered in the school gym to get organized and ready themselves to receive their diplomas.

As a breeze blew through the Michael Arciola Field where the celebration took place, students were reminded how life will change but they are ready.

It was a night of celebration when several of our faculty and staff were recognized for their hard work and dedication. During the June 10 Board of Education meeting, several staff members who are retiring were honored and even more were celebrated for having earned tenure.

The Elmsford Union Free School District has named Dr. Jeffrey Capuano as principal of Alexander Hamilton High School and Jason Martín as principal of Alice E. Grady Elementary School. Both will begin their new roles at the start of the 2026–2027 school year.

Both the Class of 2026 Valedictorian and Salutatorian agreed there was one word to describe their class.

“They're unexpected,” Valedictorian Joshuanaeen “Joshua” Navaneetharaja  said immediately when asked. 

The Salutatorian, Joseph Salheb didn’t hesitate either. 

“They're very unexpected,” he said. “You can never overestimate or underestimate them.”

Congratulations to the newest inductees into the Alexander Hamilton High School Chapter of the National Honor Society!

As one Pagano brother prepares to leave, another one will be stepping up to keep the beat going.

Senior Anthony Pagano and his younger brother, rising eighth grader Dylan, both play percussion in the Alexander Hamilton High School Band. 

Congratulations to our Girls Varsity Basketball Team on an amazing season! They were ranked No. 1, and played in the Section 1, Class B Finals, falling to YMA 55-39. It was a season filled with dedication, teamwork, and heart. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and perseverance throughout the season!
