In order to preserve the history of our athletic programs and celebrate the great achievements of our athletes, the Alexander Hamilton High School Athletic Hall of Fame was founded in 2020. The AHHS Athletic Hall of Fame was developed with a goal of recognizing outstanding accomplishments of our athletes and coaches who have contributed to the impressive history of athletics at Alexander Hamilton High School. While the achievements are plentiful, the Athletic Hall of Fame will underscore the achievement, participation, and/or commitment in our athletic programs. The AHHS Hall of Fame also serves as a means of honoring and recognizing the accomplishments of our athletes and teams who serve as an example for others to emulate.
The AHHS Hall of Fame will recognize individual athletes and teams through a nominations process. Throughout the AHHS Athletic history, our programs and coaches underscore the importance of a team mindset. While individual accomplishments are certainly noteworthy, team success is the result of everyone working together. Furthermore, the team nomination is valuable because it will recognize the personal achievements of all team members, including those who otherwise may not receive a Hall of Fame nomination, but are impressive by contributing to the team’s success. Any nominated team must have monumental accomplishments such as, but not limited to an undefeated season, a League/District/Regional and/or a State Championship victory.
The AHHS Hall of Fame was developed on the premise of Pride . Sacrifice . Desire of Building Champions Since 1929.
